Tajweed

In Arabic, the term tajwīd is derived from the triliteral root j-w-d ('to improve'). Tajweed is a compulsory religious duty (fard) when reciting the Quran. Tajwid literally means “excellence” and “precision”. In recitation of the Holy Qur’an it means: Reciting the Qur’an as it was revealed to the noble Prophet Muhammad(ﷺ ) . In order to do this we need to articulate every letter from its correct place and give the letter its rights and dues of characteristics.

Almighty Allah Says in the Holy Quran that::
"Recite hte Holy Quran slowly and making the letters clear"

Saying of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ ) :
"Beautify the Holy Quran with your voices, definitely beautiful voices enhance the beauty of the Holy Quran"
